Project 07: Hundreds of Pages, Redacted in an Afternoon

Live from this server

Every decision made here, as it happens

Everyone who reviews a record on this site makes the same decisions a reviewer makes: withhold, release, escalate, or select something the tool missed. This page counts them across every visitor, shows how often people agree with the tool's proposals, and tallies every released PDF the leak test checked before it was sent. It counts and nothing more: no text, no address, no identifier.

Connecting to this server's counts.

Since the server started

–visitors given a private session
–sessions active in the last two hours
–decisions made by a person, each a row in their own audit log
–pages marked complete, which needs a decision on every span
–released PDFs leak-tested before they were sent
–further occurrences withheld automatically, after a person withheld the first

The last hour, minute by minute

Decisions per minute, by what the person decided. Automatic spreads are not in it; only a person's own actions are.

Updated every five seconds.

People against the tool

For each proposal a visitor decided, did they go the way the tool proposed? A person overruling a proposal is the system working: the tool proposes, a person decides. Where visitors overrule one category far more than the others, that is where the rules are weakest.

Share of decided proposals in each category where the visitor did what the tool proposed. Escalations have no direction to agree with, so they are shown by how visitors resolved them.

What the tool proposed on these records

The six invented records every visitor sees, as the engine proposed them when this server started: rules only, no model.

The counts live in the server's memory and start again when it restarts. Each visitor's own session, and its audit log, is deleted after two hours idle; what is counted here is the number of each kind of action and nothing about the person or the text. The raw counts are at /dashboard.json.
